Mismatch of supply and demand on the labor market in the Northern Republic Macedonia

On March 13, 2023, in the premises of the Faculty of Economics at the Goce Delchev University from Shtip, a round table was held where the experts hired within the BE IN project discussed the problem of mismatch of supply and demand on the labor market in the Northern Republic Macedonia. At this round table, different views were presented regarding the causes and consequences of the existing inconsistency in the labor market in the country, and proposals were made to overcome it. The structure of this report is divided into two parts. The first one refers to the ascertained situation of the mismatch between supply and demand in the labor market, and the second part sublimates the suggestions presented by the experts for overcoming it.
